I am always amazed at vampire lore. It is as ancient as the Mayans dating back before 2000 B.C.. The Mayans had the Camazotz far before Europe had Dracula. Of course this is just the tip of the iceberg on vampire lore. But you have to wonder, with so many similar stories from all over the world when did the real vampire begin? There are many theories and quite frankly we may never know. But it certainly makes one wonder.
I am sure I will explore much more on this subject in blogs and other writings.
