Where do these tales come from? In The Yucatan of Mexico is a similar story of a woman named La Xtabay. She, like the ghostly tale of my youth, was also dressed in white and lurked near the edge of the forest. Her hair is said to be black as the night and grows to her ankles. Her beauty is beyond compare and she will lure unsuspecting young men to their deaths. But this legend is much older than the story of my youth, this story dates back to Mayan times and is over a thousand years old! #Horror #Vampire
