In 1931 Dracula was released in theaters everywhere. What most people don’t know, is that while they were filming the Hollywood version during the day, they were also filming the Spanish version at night!
Many critics believe the Spanish version is the better version and after watching it, I agree. The English version was toned down for audiences. The Spanish version was sexier and the director, even though he spoke no Spanish, directed the stars to show more passion and feeling. The Female lead even dressed in more revealing clothing.
The best part is, the Latin American audience was introduced to Dracula as well!

Muchos crÃticos creen que la versión en español es la mejor versión y después de verla, estoy de acuerdo. La versión en inglés se modificó para la audiencia. La versión en español fue más sexy y el director, aunque no hablaba español, dirigió a las estrellas a mostrar más pasión y sentimiento. La protagonista femenina incluso se vistió con ropa más reveladora.
¡La mejor parte es que la audiencia latinoamericana también conoció a Drácula!
