In 1902, Rufina Camabaceres was a beautiful socialite in Buenos Aires, Argentina. One night she collapsed suddenly. She was pronounced dead of a heart attack and buried days later.
A few days later cemetery workers discovered the coffin had moved inside the mausoleum. They feared that grave robbers had broken into the mausoleum. When they investigated they found that the coffin was broken from the inside and although Rufina was dead, she had at one point been alive and tried to scratch her way out of the coffin. Her ghost is sad to haunt the cemetery to this day.
