Anne Rice has long been my favorite author. From my first read of "The Vampire Lestat" to the Mayfair Witches Chronicles and beyond. She took me far above my days of reading Dean Koontz and Stephen King. Of course the latter are great authors in their own right, but Anne rice will always hold a special place in my heart.
