La Tunda comes to us from the coastal regions of South America. She is said to be a shape shifting vampire who lures her victims into the forests where she keeps them so she can suck their blood or even devour them.
There are many variations of the legend. She will appear as a loved one at times, and at other times she is just an old lady. Some legends say she prefers babies and small children. If she lurees you into the forest she will feed you with a treat of sorts and this treat casts a spell on the victim keeping them docile and easily controlled.
La Tunda nos llega desde las regiones costeras de Sudamérica. Se dice que es un vampiro que cambia de forma y que atrae a sus víctimas a los bosques donde las mantiene para poder chupar su sangre o incluso devorarlas.
Hay muchas variaciones de la leyenda. A veces aparecerá como un ser querido y en otras ocasiones es solo una anciana. Algunas leyendas dicen que prefiere los bebés y los niños pequeños. Si ella te atrae hacia el bosque, te dará una especie de golosina y esta golosina lanza un hechizo sobre la víctima manteniéndola dócil y fácilmente controlada.
